Happy summer, everyone! I hope everyone has fun plans for the summer and can spend lots of time with family and friends!

Since I haven't posted a journal since New Year's I figured it'd be a good time to update! I know I haven't been posting much lately but that's because I've been working a TON on my original stories and some spec scripts! Since I want to one day be part of the creative side of entertainment education, I need an original show idea/bible/pilot script and a spec script of an existing show to prove I can be creative.

I'm making great progress with the original idea, but I reached a road block in my spec script since I'm thinking TOO much like the writers. While hoping to find an actual script to learn formating, I discovered info about the remaining episodes of the season (they can prevent people from recording live tapings, but they clearly can't prevent people from writing on tumblr about what they saw ) and of the 13 episodes unaired at the time, 8 included ideas I had (since there are always 2 plots) and in the ones that have just recently aired, they've even used some of the character jokes I thought of. So while it's a good sign I know the show insanely well, it means I have to keep brainstorming (or plot bunny farming as would say ).  

It also means it's a good time to finally get around to doing all of the Hey Arnold FB group's ([link] ) 2013 drawing and writing challenges! I did the first two drawing ones (here: [link] and here: [link] ) but never posted what I did for the first writing one since I'm unsure about some things in it and didn't even brainstorm the second writing challenge. And now they're at #8. But considering that last summer we only had one day for each challenge and now we have a week, it hopefully won't be too hard to get caught up!
