Description

This is the birthday card for :iconlycorogue: !  :cake: Happy Birthday, Dana!! :iconballoonsplz2: :iconhappybirthdaysignplz: :iconhappybirthdaycakeplz: :iconhappybirthday2plz: :iconballoonsplz:

When you put the Inside Out emotions in your list of things you'd be happy with on your card, I thought that they'd be perfect for throwing you a party! :D I think what everyone else is doing is clear, but Disgust is saying, "If that's not her favorite flavor of cake this whole party is ruined." =P I hope you like it! :aww:

I hope your birthday is super fun and awesome and you have the best time celebrating today and over the weekend! :boogie:  Birthday hugs & love to you! :iconarmstrongtighthugplz: :glomp:

And even though this is a card, Inside Out belongs to Pixar.

In the March 12, 2016 episode of Wait Wait don't Tell Me (an NPR comedy news themed game show), that show's edition of Bluff the Listener (which sees phone callers guessing which of three ridiculous stories is true) showed why it would be a bad idea to actually have the emotions at a birthday party.  The story was given by Paula Poundstone.

"The characters from the popular Pixar-Disney movie "Inside Out" have arrived on the birthday-party circuit. The main characters in "Inside Out" are the emotions in the brain of an 11-year-old girl - Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. Kids are excited to have them, but their success at the parties have been mixed. Everyone loves Joy. She spins in with her broad smile. Cake, she shouts, and bouncy house, presents - reflecting the emotional high of the party attendees. But when Disgust, who is green, saw a kid wipe his nose with his hand at a party and disdainfully shouted ew, gross, the kid was mortified. At one party when the birthday boy, Owen Pinstein, had to wait to receive a slice of cake until all of his guests had been served, Anger screamed, you want a piece of me? Owen could no longer hold back the tide of his own giant meltdown because it's exactly how he was feeling. Fear ruined the petting zoo by saying do piglets bite? I think they smell bacon on your breath. That miniature pony looks fierce. When Sadness, in her characteristic slow blue voice, said Owen only invited us because his mom made him because we're in his preschool class, he doesn't really like us at all. He just wanted more presents, the entire group burst into tears."

Now that story was false, the actual true story was a diner meal themed after The Revenant, but can't you just see that happening at a birthday party? Fortunately, making this card was a nice move.  I think this is all the Inside Out Dana needed at her birthday party.
